Kevil (Loratadine) is a non-sedative histamine H1 receptor antagonist with anti-allergic properties devoid of anticholinergic activity. It is rapidly effective and long-lasting, allowing once-a-day administration.
Kevil is indicated in -
Seasonal allergic rhinitis
Perennial allergic rhinitis
Skin allergies including chronic urticaria
Dosage -
Adult and child over 6 years: two teaspoonful (10 ml) Kevil suspension once daily.
Children aged 2-5 years: One teaspoonful (5 ml) suspension once daily.
It is not recommended for children under 2 years of age. Upon several weeks of administration, Kevil (Loratadine) does not show any decreased activity.
